I am now taking care of my husband with AD. I don't know what stage he is in. They don't seem to know.

I love painting on canvas. Mostly dogs but also I paint reborn dolls. I also write poetry and play the organ. I have made templates for friends and family. All for fun.

Three children. Three grandchildren
I have three dogs. Two Shih Tzu and one Bishon, Cricket, Manny and Daisy. They are my babies.

I am caring for my husband, Ed, who is 79 years old, living at home and the primary ailment is alzheimer's / dementia.

ladybug, Gee I never heard of that but do you have to make sure it is ok to take with medication. Some of the stuff in health stores shouldn't be mixed with medication and mostly blood thinners.

That is true. I saw a big difference in my husband's memory after they put him on Cumadin. After three weeks his memory was getting bad. Not all medication is good for us.

My husband doctor put him on 500mg of Vit. C pill form twice a day. No more problems. But it may not work for everyone. Good luck to all

Sorry not 27/7 - 24/7 - that would be even harder. But take care of yourself and Hospice can help a lot. They will even stay over night and give you a night to sleep in peace. They do that every 3 mos ...Read More
