They jumped right on it as far as coming to talk to me, and she was very understanding (or it was a "good cop" ploy). Apparently she went to the head of the Public Guardian's office for a talk...and the issue has been stalled ever since. "It's still under investigation," meaning I think "I dropped the ball and haven't done anything since then." Even the lawyer was waiting for the investigator to do her job; she then gets that report and does her own investigating.
So, who now would I report the court investigator acting "with impunity." I am pretty much a pain in the ass when I want to be, but also know I am under their thumb. They can remove me as caregiver whenever they want, and evict me from the house. They even took away my car, which I couldn't afford to keep running because the sisters complained that it looked tacky. (Same sister who gave me that car and had it sitting collecting weeds in her crappy yard.)
Sucks major, doesn't it. And this is the least of my concerns.
Guess I should call the investigator and ask when, exactly, may we receive some justice and so forth. For me, its not enough for them to say, "They've cleaned up their problem in the department." At the same time they screwed up Mom's reverse mortgage (exact problem they created four years ago, that I solved then and this time as well!) they changed the billing program within the trust dept and many bills went to collection, and her house insurance got cancelled. I had to let a cat die a torturous death because there was no money for the vet. Actually mom lives in a $900,000 house even in this market, and she's used only $225,000 of it or so. Plenty of time to chew through this house, money wise.
