Nanette (nanstill) Age: 58 Gender: Male
Married 32 years, 3 grown daughters, 1 grandchildPrimary caregiver for mother with dementia, moved her to assisted living Feb. 2010; she is highly functioning: memory loss, judgment issues, difficulty performing routine tasks, some delusions, some hallucinations, lots of UTI's during the last year. This is hard for me because she has been widowed for 28 years and we have been close. The past 5 years have been difficult with the last year being more than I could handle alone.
I am caring for my mother, Bobbie, who is 78 years old, living at assisted living and the primary ailment is alzheimer's / dementia.
