I saw the doctor prior to going on vacation, she put the pessory device in, got me by until I got home from vacation, as she didn't want me to travel immediately after surgery! The device was removed, I had the surgery on January 10, 2011, passed the physical after surgery on Feb. 22, 2011, the bladder stayed in place! I had 4 previous surgeries by other doctors, that had all promised the bladder would not come down again. My big problem was I was living on & running a horse farm, during the 4 previous surgeries & after my recoup time I was told I could go back to lifting my normal weight I was used to lifting so I went back to lifting the normal bales of hay, bales of straw, 5 gallon buckets of water, heavy saddles, muck buckets that probably weighed full, 30 or more lbs., etc. etc. So after a few years of doing such, the bladder came back down! Probably my fault! This time I am retired & pray this surgery holds, as I am going to limit what I lift, had no choice before as chores had to be done, couldn't find anyone to do the work for me so I did it myself, no one seems to want to actually work now a days! I thank you for your advice & have written the name down of the doctor, maybe if this doesn't hold, although I pray it does, as I sure don't want to go through this again ever!
