One morning around six am before my mother woke up, I decided to go for a walk on the trail which usually takes about three hours. The first thing my mother does when she gets out of bed is to come to my room so I put my mother's breakfast and meds on the table in my room, turned on the tv and left her a note saying, "Mama, I've gone walking and I'll be back at 9:00. My cell phone number is...The first time she called me, I told her that I was going to stop at the store to buy some vegetables and I'd be right home. The second time she called I told her I was on my way. She said that she was reading my note and read the part to me about coming back at 9:00 and said to herself, "maybe she can't tell time. Then she said, if you're going to lie, don't write it down.
