The lady has Parkinson's in the latter stages and is 82yrs. old. Very sweet and I've grown quite attached to her . They say you shouldn't and maybe I would't have if I hadn't lived in. Now one of the daughters has stepped up to make changes and I feel like I,m being rejected. The family has always been very gracious and even understood when sress had gotten me somewhat frustrated. they thank me alot, etc. But the one daughter has hired (not much notice0 2 more people and has elinated the live-in situation all together. Says because of caegiver -burnout and hher Mom needs a variety. She Doesn't want this, and wanted me (trustsme) and if it hadn't been for her speaking up, I woul've had only 2 ays a week! I cre so much for her ,I'm older (wisdom) , concientious, etc. I just hurt over this change and alot of it is because the new people are certified nurses. I can't get certifioation due o my bad back(spine in general), but that hasn't made a difference to me. I really don't use my back that much, so... all I know is it even angers me that I may be getting phased out entirely. What can or should I do? I did tell the daughter some of what I felt and she said she was sorry, but her Mom really needed more medical type caregivers.
