My mom has advanced PD and also contracted a UTI earlier this year that impacted her thinking and behavior. She did not take (and is not taking) any medications for sundowners (yet). However, I have found the on-line PD community at Daily Strength very helpful and recommend that you post your question there as well. It's an active group of people with PD as well as caregivers of loved ones with PD. You'll surely receive suggestions from those who have experience with such meds. I wish you all the best.
