...Read MoreI am touched by your care for your grandmother and taking time to reach out to this forum for help.. Looks like things are looking up, but realize that she will have periods of depression and remembering with longing. I am collecting stories for a book about mercy for our elders, every topic from being kinder on an everyday level, deciding to reach out in the first place, or interfering when there is real abuse.
Would you like to participate? my blog caught the eye of a famous author, Clarissa Pinkola Estes author of "women Who Run with the Wolves." I knew her before when I worked at a magazine.
the one that caught her eye is the dramatic scene I threw in the ER when the nurses were torturing my mother. I see your story, for one so young, deciding that your grandmother's problem was not above your desire to help her...doesn't have to be long.
