Matter of fact there are plenty of us on this site who go through the same thing. We all just grin and bear it, although it tears us up and usually I want to shout out "ARE YOU CRAZY I'M THE ONE HERE WITH YOU".
My mom and I also had a great relationship. We laughed all the time, now it's so seldom she laughs, even smiles. But still we go on. We carry this load and cry and feel helpless.
My mom has old arthur really bad too. She can barely walk and is bedridden. It's sad they way they revert into something we barely know and barely understand. It consumes you, and takes away from your spirit.
That's why this is a great site where you can get support and help but most of all, know that you are not alone.
I'm with ya.
