...Read MoreI will call Hospice Again Thanks. The locations I spoke to in Long Island were not as helpful as I have found hospice in other states. FL, MI, GA - all seem very progressive in their out reach programs. The few I spoke w/ in LI were adamant my Mom had to have the 6mo life sentence. With her disease, the doctor won’t make a time frame judgment. Perhaps I need to hit up again as well. I
That office hates me LOL I call regularly. I am in FL and it seems that being removed (by distance) from the situation me see more clearly/ objectively.
Will get on the phone Tues. Thank you. Sometimes I just need someone telling me I am doing the right thing. Many folks have warned me, and it makes that this is my parents love story, not mine. I am a part of it, but I am not writing it. I sometimes don’t know where that boundary is.
