Medications do really help and it is not a weakness to use themn. Please be patient and don't take any of what she says personally. Read all you can about dementia and find a support group to go to. Also you must remain calm and take care of yourself. None of this is your fault or your fathers. My mother also had some paranoid thinking for quite a few years. Just know they are her thoughts not yours. Find a mental health group to discuss your feelings with too. Good luck.mtb
