Husband and I have been caring for his mother for the past 7 years. The last 4 in our home. She does not want to lift a finger, wants to be constantly served, entertained, does not respect our privacy and BTW we owe her this. Very trying situation. We are burning out! We have NO other family. We are on our own.
She is incontinant and refuses to wear the adult diapers which causes more stress, cleaning and tons of laundry.
