...Read MoreA short time ago when I joined this wonderful support group I was just amazed how everyone had such similar stories and how large our group seemed to be. It seems that we are all needed so much more now because our elders are living so much longer than they use to. I do believe that no one talks about the "elephant in the room" and that is as our Baby Boomers get into the same situation, the cost to us nationally for all the health costs, the cost emotionally and physically to our caregivers, IF we are lucky enough to have one, are astronomical.
Me, I want to have a bottle of Seconal ready to down when the time comes rather than spend years and years of useless, bleak, helpless and pained existence as I see my loved ones leading rigth now.
