Well here I am at a new chapter in my life, one I honestly did not ever think I would be here. I am 42 with a grown daughter. My mom and dad have been marrier 56 years. I have recently resigned my position to be at home to care for both mom and dad. They are 73 and 72. Dad has been ill for quite some time. Well here I am at a new chapter in my life, one I honestly did not ever think I would be here. I am 42 with a grown daughter. My mom and dad have been marrier 56 years. I have recently resigned my position to be at home to care for both mom and dad. They are 73 and 72. Dad has been ill for quite some time. Parkinson's, diabetes among all the other diagnosis's as well. Until dad's last hospitalization mom was able to care for his daily needs, but recently she has begun failing as well. Dad passed away Dec 23 2010, the saddest day of my life for sure, still dealing with it for sure. Now I am caring for mom, very early dementia or alzheimer's. Not too mention handling the home, finances and all that goes with it as many of you know for sure. This is definitely a new chapter again for me. My sibling's do not help out at all, the only one I had moved to illinois, so it is me just me. But Mom and Dad were always there for me, so now i have given up the the last 5 yrs or so to care for them. All I can say is that this site has been a life saver for me, everyone on here has been an angel for sure. So Hugs to all...
