Renata Gelman, RN, BSN, is Clinical Manager for Partners in Care, an affiliate of The Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), the largest home health care agency in the United States. Partners in Care provides quality private care services to people in their homes or communities, including personal care and companionship, private duty nursing, patient review assessments and geriatric care management. She is responsible for establishing treatment plans for Partners in Care clients and coordinating the appropriate home health care staffing resources required. She manages a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 50 field nursing and home health care professionals at Partners in Care. She has been a registered nurse since 1993, having graduated from Odessa Medical School in Ukraine with both her RN and BSN degrees. After graduation, she moved to New Jersey and became a licensed RN in both New Jersey and New York. Before joining Partners in Care, she was the regional director of patient care services for Essex Valley Visiting Nurse Association, a national association that supports, promotes and advocates for non-profit home health and hospice providers. Prior to Essex Valley Visiting Nurse Association, Renata worked as an RN in the Medical Surgical unit at Morristown Memorial Hospital, as an RN supervisor at Loving Care, Inc., and as an RN of the Allergy/Immunity unit at Hoffman Medical Center. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and massage therapy.
