My fathers hearing is changing daily. Some days he hears my brother or someone calling him. He also where hearing aids. Some times they help him and sometimes they hurt his ears....not sure why. I do know the auditory part of his brain is shrinking and it is the root of this. I sit down and explain this to him and he feels safer. Seems to understand somewhat..And he does ok afterthat for a while.
