My 88-year-old mother has severe dementia; a possible predator on the scene has been working on mother for quite some time.

Long story short, mom had dad arrested for abuse (she went after him with a knife as he was trying to flee) he admitted to abuse so she would not get in trouble...

I am helping an elderly friend and since I contacted the agencies (a.p.s.) etc. to update them they imediately filed for gaurdian of her.
