What is the average rate of pay for the number CNA who is responsible for the scheduling of 7 days a week full time care. Also the rate of the CNA staff

Time and a half, plus a nice treat to eat, as food is always welcome.

I'm not sure if we paid time and a half or double time on Thanksgiving and Christmas but it was very difficult to get anyone to work no matter what we paid.

Thay is true, Brandee. It is hard to get people to work on holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. If a fill-in can't be found it's out of my hands. This is one of the reasons why when potential new clients are coming onto our service I insist that there be someone local (a family member or friend) who can be called if they are needed. I explain this to all clients and their representatives that there may be times when an aide cannot get to them. Like certain weather conditions or on a major holiday if I can't find someone. I've filled in with clients on Christmas and Thanksgiving when there wasn't a fill-in available.

You don't need guidance on such a simple question. I own a homecare agency. The minimal pay for someone working on a holiday is to offer time-and-a-half (which is their normal hourly wage plus half). All caregivers who work for us get double-time (their hourly wage doubled) if they're working on any of the major holidays,
