I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses about this. I would suggest that you consult with an Elder Law attorney in your jurisdiction to find out what your rights and responsibilities are. Many attorneys are doing consultations by phone and internet right now. If you're not able to care for her in your home, I'm not sure how they could force you to do it. And, perhaps the hospital social worker could find options for her.
