If I apply for SSI, the trust account will count as my money or not?

If I open a trust account with the name of my two adult sons, can i hold the authority on the account alone all my life?

Please talk with an elder law attorney experienced with Social Security Disability and with Medicaid in your state. They will be best able to advise you about control of the trust and whether it satisfy the Medicaid look-back requirements in the 5 year period before you qualify for Medicaid.
