Will my mom lose her monthly social security check if she is approved for Medicaid? We live in Pittsburgh, PA & she has her own apartment.

Not if its "in home" Medicaid. She does need to live. But the criteria is similar to LTC Medicaid and she will be limited to what she can have in the bank. If she is entering a Nursing facility with Medicaid paying, that's when her SS goes to offset the cost of her care.
