Find Care & Housing
Medicare is for healthcare only. If on Hospice Medicare pays for diapers I know. I know when Mom entered a NH they provided her shampoo, toothpaste, brush, comb, depends etc. $35 (now $50) went into her account called PNA. This could go for clothing, personal products, candy, sodas, etc. But this comes from ur SS check that the home became payee for even when Mom was private pay.

I know HomeHealthCare will supply a lot of things, and so will the VA.

Ask, ask, ask. I get Perineal Soap & Wipes from the VA. Not enough for the full month, but it all helps. I get 1 bottle of Foaming Aloe Vesta and 3 boxes of Adult Wipes about every month. I think the wipes aren't sent every month though. I've learned how to be very thankful for anything we get. The VA will also give you 1 case of 24 Ensure Plus per month. Again, not enough for the entire month - but that's $36 I don't have to spend.
