Hi rose, I'm not sure about the financial help, but you may need to check the phone book on elderly care/programs. On this site, there is a Blue Box that has FIND HOUSING AND CARE. Enter your Zip code/city,state and click on the subject that you want (example: Care...Home Care, or Adult Day Care or Hospice Care.) Also, you qualify as a senior citizen. See what benefits you qualify as a senior citizen. If you give them a call, they can give you advice on a lot of stuff that you get discounts. If you have no insurance, you may need to contact medicaid? I'm sure if you contact the senior program center, they will be happy to assist you! Hope all goes well! Take care.

My Mom lives in my home and some of the family members care for her. She gets a small stifling from the death of my father since 1987. She does not own a home nor does she have any asset, I need help with her care, doing the day and sometime in the evening. How do I apply for Medicare assistance?
