Why is my aunt turning my mom against me? Has anyone experienced this?

Old age, disease and dementia turn people into strangers and sometimes even monstrous versions of who they once were.

Your profile says Mom has Dementia and Parkinsons. Is she on her own, lives with you, you with her or is she is care.

Your Moms brain is broken so yes people can manipulate her and she can't reason anymore and will believe what they say. Are your Moms POA, if so, your in charge. Ban the Aunt from being able to see Mom because she causes dessension. If Mom is living with you, you can ban Aunt from ur home. Block her from ur phones. If Mom is in care, u can request Aunt not be allowed to visit Mom. If in Moms home, a little harder but u can ban her.

No one can turn someone against another unless the person being turned is weak, ill, or (sorry) stupid.

Speak with your Mother about her feelings regarding you, and see what she has to say.

Leave Aunt out of it.

I had a Rude Aunt who tried to turn everyone against everyone. So yeah, it was probably something like what you are experiencing. Some people are just no good, so feel free to ignore and/or separate yourself from the drama. There's nothing wrong about protecting yourself from those who would harm you.
