If other family members are present it's okay for me to be there, when caregivers are there I'm not allowed to be there. It keeps flipping back in forth and back in forth.

There seems to be a lot going on with the family that isn't included in the various posts so that potential responders can really understand the issues.

Yes, protect yourself. Hope you have kept good records. I would back off at this point.

When family members are there, of course they're going to keep you handy. They don't want to get their hands dirty. When caregivers are around, there's no need for you. They all have something up their sleeves, and your mere presence is cutting into their flow. Find something to do while the buzzards feed.

Ok, that explains what is going on. First, you need a lawyer. Second, Moms accounts have hers and my names on them. As POA I pay her bills. Seems funny everyone is taking careof Uncle then daughter finally shows up

There's a back story to this. I went to the "Search Site" above and typed in Help4Uncle and found this https://www.agingcare.com/questions/reasonable-amount-for-durable-power-of-attorney-be-paid-191192.htm

I am not sure but I think Help4Uncle and Justice4Time are the same writer.

About the best way to save yourself is to immediately go to the bank and put all the money back in his name. Then go see a lawyer before you land in jail, because I don't think his children are going to let you off the hook.
You are asking about getting paid; the answer is no. They are angry about the accounts in your name and they have every right to pursue this.
