He's tearing up his own mail and faulsly accusing my mom for going through there mail and throwing it away which is a lie. He lives in the garage with no plumbing or heat don't help her with anything around the house either one of them work he is putting so much stress on my mom I don't know what to do?

I think it's time to bring your mother AND her dogs to stay with you, for safety reasons. Or else put the dogs in temporary kennel care so they're protected as well, then take your mother out of this situation ASAP.

Thank you all . My Mom won today in court thank god.. We also got a protection order as well. They have 48 hours to get out. We're hoping they leave without a sheriff having to come and get them out.

Let the eviction proceed. Sounds like he has severe issues, with outbursts like that I will guess either meth or crack.

Make sure you are at that hearing. To speed up the eviction, highlight their meth use and emphasize Mom isn't safe anymore. See what you can do to get an order of protection for Mom if they do happen to get extra time. Don't leave her alone with those fiends. They could rob her (I'm sure they've done it already), hurt her physically, and even set the place on fire when their time is up. Do you have friends that can come by to check up on her?

Dr. Phil had several shows about adult children returning back to their parent's home, living in the garage [they did have access to the house for plumbing and heating]. All I remember is Dr. Phil telling the grown son to get off the sofa and find work and for the parents to evict him and his girlfriend.

She probably rightly fears for her dogs. Can you move in for awhile? At least go over often to keep them guessing.

Thank you pamstegma yes he and his wife are both on meth I fear for my mother everyday she is my world and I would be lost without her. The final eviction hearing is on Wednesday but we are hearing he may get extra time to be out. I just fear he is trying to set her up . It's sad when my mothers neighbors call me in fear of her safety. I try to have her stay at my house but she has dogs she will not leave alone for even a few hours.
