I'm looking to understand where people go when they need to provide medical care for their grandparent. Mostly, I'm looking to understand where people go to find rides when their grandparent needs to go to the doctor's office.
Ben, contact or google SMART and call them. Depending on your grandparent's mobility and/or disability, they might qualify for ADA service. If not, ask about SMART's Connector service.
There are a number of ambulette services in this area, but the SMART services are generally cheaper. SMART services do have mileage limitations, so you might have to rely on a commercial service.
