Oops, sorry. 😌
That's what I get for trying to carry on a conversation in the car AND reading and responding to posts. My bad.

I doubt if any company would cover somebody who may die of cancer. Not in their best interest. They claim that Colonial Penn doesn't ask for an exam. But I think they limit the amount you can insure. If your looking to cover just Funeral expenses, maybe the place to go.

I would be very surprised if any company would sell life insurance to someone with a cancer diagnosis.

Just as I would be surprised if a company would sell a long term care policy to someone diagnosed with dementia.

Isn't the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or "Obamacare" still alive? (even though it's being chopped away by P.Trump.)

In California we have Covered California as the insurance broker. I believe there is something called Healthcare.com for the other states. The wonderful thing about Obamacare is that they can't turn away anyone with a pre-existing condition.

Check the Internet for listings. You are charged according to your salary. Some folks making a large salary do not qualify for subsidies.

It honestly depends, you need to contact the various life insurance providers out there & see what options they have. It depends on the type of cancer, when the diagnosis was, what the prognosis is.
