As for vision, I head over to Walmart. The guy does a good for not a lot of money. I have a vision issue...optic nerve damage...and haven't had any problems. Make sure they measure your PD (pupillary distance) when they give you your script. Then hop over to Zenni Optical on line and order glasses. My frameless progressive bifocal glasses were slightly over $100 shipped. My polarized progressive sunglasses were about $120.
One option you could look at for dental...it helps a little bit. It a dental plan. Mine is about $100 a year and it gives me a discount on services. Not a lot, but it can add up. You dentist should be able to direct you to which plans the participate in. I needed a crown and saved $300. It was still $900 but it helped.
See if you qualify for Medicaid health insurance. In my state vision, prescriptions and dental are included.
If ur talking about property taxes check with your tax office if there is help for Seniors. I froze mine when DH was 65. I pay the full taxes to the County but the State reimburses me for the difference between the full amt and the frozen amount. If its getting hard for you to pay taxes maybe its time to sell and find something u can afford.

One of the calls you might want to make is to your local Health Department. Local Area Agency on Aging Your local Senior Center might be of help with information. Often Township offices can help with Taxes, some local Community Colleges will have programs that will help as well.

I would get a second opinion on the dental work. Sounds like dentures would be a cheaper solution.
