Methuselah49, call your local agency on aging to see if they have a list of income tax people. Some times one will see seniors at the local senior center, if their taxes are easy to do.

Depending on your income you can file online with the IRS directly or also turbo tax has a free filing. Again it depends on your income. I do ours myself. If I lived close I would offer to do them for you for free.We are self employed and whew I have begun the process. Best wishes!

EZTAXRETURN will do it...Federal only.

If you are a Wells Fargo customer, and a senior....you can get it all done by them

Area Agency on Aging generally can set you up with an appointment with RSVP volunteers who do taxes for free. Or call RSVP directly. Retired Senior Volunteer Program - generally the preparer's are retired CPA's or other accounting persons. They take training every tax season to keep themselves up-to-date.
