My father in law is in an indepedent living facility. Recently he has stopped getting out of bed to eat or go to restroom. Hospice has gotten involved and comes in three times weekly and say we need to get a sitter for him. My question, under these circumstances should he be in a nursing home.

Financially it takes all his S.S and pension plus what we can provide at this time. There is a home across steet from where he is now and run by same organzation,so he would not be any further away
