Find Care & Housing
Momafaust, when you feel like you are doing the work of 3 full-time caregivers every day. Lost of sleep. Not feeling well yourself. Doing all the chores, including the chores that hubby use to do. Time for more hands on deck.

If you and hubby can budget for this, bringing in the pros will be a relief for you. The professional caregivers have been on many rodeos so they have experience for every new issues that dementia may cause. And you have another adult in the house to chat with when hubby is resting and/or some down time so you can once again enjoy doing things without rushing.

If you go through an Agency, ask the Agency to send out a different person each time until you find one that is a perfect fit. Not only for your hubby but also for you. When you find that right match, have the Agency put that caregiver on a regular schedule.
