What has been other's experience with guardianship when there are no funds and parent still has to get medical care?

You sort of asked this question before and got some good answers. Guardianship gives you the ability to over see someones care when they no longer are competent. You are not financially responsible for them.

Do you have guardianship? If not, these would be questions for the lawyer filing for you. Each state has there own laws but I am sure you are not held financially responsible.

Has Mom been placed in LTC yet? Is Medicaid involved?
