Is property that's previously Quit Deeded to a relative considered an asset to Medicaid when a person qualifies for a Nursing home?

If the quit claim was never registered and transferred so that relative was paying property taxes and insurance, it's a red flag.

Everglade, as for the Quit Claim deed, it all depends on when that change was made. If it was within the past 5 years, Medicaid might red flag it as a "gift".
