Many, if not all the Memory Care facilities that I have heard of will not take a resident that has "tubes" that would be IV's, feeding tubes, catheters and the like for this very reason. (an acquaintance's husband pulled out his feeding tube and his was a "G tube")
So in many cases you would be looking at a Skilled Nursing facility rather than a traditional Memory Care. Also in Memory Care there may not be the trained staff to handle a catheter.

You will have to do the research for your area. I recommend using a senior care placement specialist. They should be able to find a facility that can meet his needs.
