Doctor marked 21-2680 form that assistance is needed, but provided no additional information. VA informed me that additional details are needed for both questions. Can someone provide the appropriate wording that will have the VA accept these two conditions of needed assistance. Thank you.

Talk to ur local VA rep. What u need to show is that care in more than his income. My doctor showed Dementia and I proved she was in an AL, which VA approves. Showed she was paying 5k a month for AL. Her income was 1700 a month which went towards her house upkeep. She had 50k in the bank which anyone could see would be gone in a year. But I got a letter saying 13k a year was too much. What? Who can live off of 13k a year? And she made 20k a year 15k of that SS. Someone didn't look at her form right. I would have appealed it but she was going on Medicaid and u Can't have both.
