What is the best way to do power of attorney?

We have decided to do the durable power of attorney. Is it best to fill forms in online or download forms as thinking of doing POA online as solicitors fee is £700. Could someone please help.

Solicitors charge £450 +vat +£168 registration fee

That seems really excessive for a simple POA, have you called around to different solicitors?
