My aunt Jan has started wetting the bed. To make it harder, she hides the dirty depends and covers spot with towels. Is there any pull-up options for adults?
My Mom and her sisters use Always Discreet and are very pleased with them. When my Aunt started leaking through those during the night we got her Tena Intimates for Overnight and are very pleased with them. She wakes up dry every time.
Absolutely. You can find pull up types of adult diapers, ones that 'tear away' (more like a baby diaper) and extra pads and such to protect and absorb even more.
My mom finally found a brand she liked and used that for the last year of her life. She still 'overflowed' them, b/c they are expensive and I know she was trying to save pennies on them..
For the bed or chairs, use the CHUX pads. Some people prefer the doggy pads, whatever works.
Whatever you do, don't scold her for this 'new' normal. She obviously is aware enough that peeing the bed is not what she 'should' be doing. Allow her as much dignity in this as you can.
IF this is a brand new thing--have her checked for a UTI. Those can cause bed wetting.
