Check with your loved one’s doctor. If they need assistance with activities of daily living (like bathing), you may be able to get a home health aide referral through the doctor’s office and the bathing service would be covered by insurance.

Since you have no profile nor general location where you live, you get a general answer. Call your care businesses. They may all have similar rates. Usually there is a 4 hour minimum at rates between $25 to 35 depending on your location

Sorry, this isca forum of caregivers sharing our experiences. We are not a care agency. You will need to research the area you live in. Aides salaries are determined by where they live and availability. In NJ minimum wage is now $15.

Call your office of Aging to see if they have list of agencies near you.
