How often do home health aides quit while working for you? Wouldn't that be disrupting? I am working with a care company to hire a carer and I don't expect the person to work with me forever. But do they often quit?

The first one I hired lasted just one week. Just too much abusive language from Dad.

The second one lasted just one day. Dad had explosive diarrhea in her car...I did warn her to not take him anywhere without one his own towels under him.

The third one lasted one day. A male caregiver...just too darn pushy.

I can't remember...but, we went thru  3 or 4 more over then next couple months.

The one that was hired and stayed was a relative of a family friend. She was simply the best thing that ever happened for my Dad. I had to really push the agency to hire her (insurance would not pay for private hire). She lasted the entire remainder of my Dads  life, and stayed on the full year after that for the remained of my Mom's life
