What causes Alzheimer's patients to lose weight when they have no eating, or swallowing disorders?

this patient seems tired most of the time, sleeps and naps a lot, is 81 yrs old.

Some forget to eat or have trouble staying "on track" long enough to eat an entire meal.
Others have digestive system issues- on the outside looks fine, but on the inside they aren't absorbing the nutrition from the food.
