Mom has become aggressive, throwing food and stomping on the caregiver's foot when she doesn’t like something. Her doc has prescribed 25 mg Seroquel. Hope it helps.

Be aware, though, any medication may not work as intended. In my mom's case ativan had the completely opposite effect. It made her even less cooperative and more aggressive. So, keep an eye on it. If Seroquel doesn't work, try something else. A week or trying should be enough.
Some drugs like Seroquel are started at a low dose to assess patient response and tolerance, then gradually increased (if necessary) to achieve optimum benefit. Seroquel has definitely helped my mom's agitation and paranoia.
Seroquel is a potent anti-psychotic drug. However, 25mg is a very small dose. Usually antipsychotics are not prescribed to elderly patients, unless it is for a limited time and to control agitation and aggressiveness. It does work but it makes the patient feel weak, tired and sleepy. Long-term use of antipsychotics is discouraged because it predisposes the developing of cerebro vascular accidents (strokes).
My dad was prescribed this as well. It may take a bit of time for the medications (either this or something else) to take effect - there is by necessity some "trying out" to find the right medication and dosage, so it's important to be patient and realize it doesn't happen overnight.
