ALs may not except someone needing this kind of care. Most of the care staff are CNAs. My Mom was in a 39 bed AL. There was one RN and one LPN.

There is a pricing for room and board and separate pricing for care. This is usually calculated in tiers. There may not be a "price" for colostomy care as such. Plus we r a forum of care givers from all over the US. The cost of ALs and services probably depend on where you live.

You just need to call around to ALs in your area and ask this question.
