From the looks of the house, no I don't think so. If he is, it is costing way too much. Someone has her thinking that a hamburger for 3 cost $200.00 There has been talk that he has done this in the past with other widows.

I read ur previous post. If Mom assigned the POA while suffering Dementia its invalid. Call the APS in her county and ask that they evaluate the situation. Tell them these people are not relatives or long friends. Otherwise, u may need guardianship to override them.

If someone is scamming your mother and she has mental issues, you need to call the police.

Madashell, I am sorry I cannot figure out your post. Can you tell us who is "he" and from your profile you say he is 30 years younger? Where did you Mom meet this person? Who has told you that this younger fellow had gone after other widows? What do you mean from the looks of the house?

I see from your profile that your Mom has memory issues. How far along is she with these issues? If Mom has memory issues, your Mom could think that hamburger can cost $200 for a family of 3 from something she have mis-heard on TV. Or does this fellow tell your Mom that is the cost when he goes grocery shopping?

As for moving your Mom to where you live, usually one has to wait until there is an emergency where your Mom needs to go to the hospital, then to rehab, and then to either your place or a nursing facility.
