We need help and my mother in law needs to get out! We are looking for a memory day care for a couple to 3 days a week or even to split between a center and an individual that has experience in taking care of Alzheimer’s patients, to take her out one day a week

Google mealsonwheelsoc.org. I am also looking for a place for Mom to go and socialize like she used to do at the Westminster Senior Center. Yesterday I found out about these facilities being open. I'm familiar with the Buena Park Center. With the centers being closed down I've seen a decline with Mom, she misses her friends and her classes. She does take an exercise class on Zoom through Coastline 2x's a week but she needs to get out and I need a break. Hope that this help you.

You can call....opening soon in a senior center near you. Or get referrals....

Hours of Operation
Due to COVID-19, the Senior Center in Central Park (Huntington Beach) is temporarily closed. However, you can call 714-536-5600 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

This is an international website, so normally people won't be able to give you specific recommendations for your area (although I'm waving at you from North OC! 😉).

You might check with the Orange County Alzheimers Association (AlzOC.org) for any referrals.
