Find Care & Housing
Please DO NOT quit your job. Take a leave of absence if absolutely necessary, but don't quit.
Call 211 to find out what resources are available in your area to help your parents.
And please bring hospice on board for your father. You can call them yourself and have them come out to do an assessment to see if he qualifies for their help.
If he does, they will have a nurse come once a week to start, aides will come bathe him at least twice a week, and any and all needed equipment, supplies and medications needed for his care will be supplied and covered 100% under your fathers Medicare or Medicaid. So call then today.

First, do not quit your job. You will need your income to support yourself.

Get your parents signed up for Medicaid and work on getting either homecare and eventually placement. You said your father is dying. Have you considered hospice for him?

We started palliative care/hospice for him.
I have seen where you can be paid to take care of your family members. Is that even a thing?

I live with them full time. I am their full time caregiver. We are working on getting my father Medicaid. As my father’s health gets worse… I may need to quit my job.
Just needing direction on where to go for financial help or any help information.

Are they on Medicaid? Do you have caregivers at the home with them? Do they live with you?

Could you give us a bit more information? Thanks.
