Affect short term memory?

Find Care & Housing
Well, I am assuming this was an MD prescribing.
Truly that is the best person to discuss whether or not to try the medication, whether or not it works for you, and whether or not you have side effects. I can only wish you luck, and tell you that my little Chihuahua mix, likely a chi-weenie, does truly remarkable better on this med than doing "real life" without it. She had a lot of anxiety, barking, sort of compulsive behavior, and she is a more relaxed dog, and not at all overly sleepy. Hate comparing your case with my dog, but Frieda wants you to know it "works for her".

Best of luck with trying out this medication.

I took trazadone for refractive depression when it was first marketed 40 years ago. That is what it was made for, not sleep. Antidepressants and antipsychotics were meant to treat depression and hallucinations/delusion, not anxiety or sleeplessness or pain. God forbid people get addicted, so we will make the cure so inappropriately full of unneeded side effects that they’ll quit.

I don't know that it's a published side effect of Trazadone, which is used in lower doses for a sleep aid and in higher doses for antidepressant purposes, but it turned me into a non functional zombie when used as a sleep aid in my 40s.
