Are you asking if there is mandatory training, or are you seeking training for your own benefit?

Your local probate court or senior services agency may be able to refer you to a seminar or class, if you are seeking training on your own. If it's mandatory (there are some jurisdictions that have such requirements), the court would tell you what is required and when/where sessions would be offered.

I don't know where you live or what jurisdiction, but you can find guardianship and/or conservatorship handbooks online that are quite helpful. I am a legal professional with a financial services company, and handle a lot of guardianship/conservatorship issues. In researching issues, I found guardianship handbooks for 41 different states, and these are quite useful for identifying your duties as a guardian and/or conservator. Some of the handbooks have references to other agencies or programs for further assistance. It might be a good place to start.

Best wishes.
