So after having to deal with grandma talking her diaper off 5 times yesterday and smearing herself with filth, should I stop fighting the diaper fight and give up and let her be without a diaper? I recall that some people do exactly that. I tried it once and she would just pee and poop onto the disposable pad. It ended up being much cleaner than the mess she makes trying to empty out her diaper. Including a couple of times, flinging poop on the carpet. What would have been a 5 minute diaper change ends up being a hour general cleanup of her and the room.
Of course she would still wear a diaper while sitting up and out and about. I'm just considering no diaper while in bed on top of disposable pads.
Diapers were only used if requested by the family.
People here have also suggested a suit with a zipper up the back that she couldn’t take off the get at the disposables.
