He is a huge man and not only that, he has Dementia. He lives in assisted living and he is an x pro football player. Hint: Don't let your kids or g kids play football. Water polo instead. He doesn't understand he cannot manage getting up by himself. He needs 2 people to help him. And, of course he wants to come home with me. It is a constant battle when I leave after my daily visit. These comments really help me. But I am wondering about the slanted seat cushion. Is it hard for the help to get him up if he uses that? Some days he is stronger and other days he sleeps most of the day. But he constantly tries to get up and come with me to our condo. It is truly heartbreaking!

They don't want to get him out of the wheelchair so the slanted cushion. Really can't have it both ways. Not sure how to handle this without someone getting hurt.
